Day 32 - The next level

Yea! A new month. Time to evaluate, adjust, refresh, and start climbing the next level. Reminds me of going up Pike's Peak. It looked insurmountable on my own, but when I began climbing with companions who had been there, and we stopped periodically to refresh, our faith increased at each level.

Jehovah-Jireh - God-Yireh God Sees-to-it or The Lord will provide - from Genesis 22:14 - "And Abraham called the name of that place God will provide, as it is said to this day "In the mount of the LORD, it will be provided". The Hebrew interpretation God Sees-To-It seems so much more explanatory. Provide says give which has the same essence, yet sees-to-it reveals the truth of things not being so simple as a 'godly vending machine.' God sees to it that His promise to conform me to the image of His Son will happen. Sometimes a step to the completion of that promise is relatively clear and simple, but other times God has to use other people or things to get my time and attention or to correct me and get me back on the path. The best part is that I don't have to wrestle with depending on energy and will I drum up, because I often get tired and would give up if not for knowing Who it is I do it for and Who it is that has promised that what He has begun in me will be completed. I think we all have a marathon we need to run - preparing for it, dropping off the weights that would slow us down, and allowing the master pacer to guide us mile by mile. God has promised I will complete my run, and He will see to it.

Brunch:  Wild-Rice chicken soup and short-crust rhubarb pie.

Dinner:  Romaine-Wrap - with chicken, avocado and muenster cheese.  Side of gluten-free blueberry coffee cake.
