Days 132-133 - Pampered and Farther South

Sunday - Spinach and Mushroom Knish - from food court at Festival Flea Market in Pompano Beach.
Delightfully delicioius - phyllo dough surrounding creamy mashed potato background supporting the spinach and mushrooms.  They were huge and Marlene and I shared one and were both satisfied.   It was our best bargain lunch - Food and drink for two for $4.00!

Mother's Day Barbecue - My nephew's mother-in-law invited us to an awesome Tuscon style home in a gated community.  Classic surroundings with a sheen-enhanced pastel table setting made us feel honored.  Jim cooked chicken at the grill (mine hidden in foil of course) and Ann served recipe-requesing potato salad flavored by a light white french dressing, brightly colored salad and a heavenly light ladyfinger lined strawberry 'cake'. Actually layers of ladyfingers, a sweetened mixture of cream cheese and whipped cream, and strawberries.  The kind of dessert this woman wished she could eat 3-4 portions, it was so refreshing.

Monday - Cottage cheese and strawberries and banannas for breakfast, Activa peach yogurt for lunch and salad, chicken, strawberries and almonds for dinner.   A Dave Ramsey workshop on finances was instructional and a testimony by Marvel's friend on being saved from Buddhism to Christ was inspirational.
