Days 140-141 - Spoiled by the Best

Have you ever had something that couldn't be matched?  The best strawberries, the best dessert, the best entree... Florida's best was the Rum Shack and I seriously hope someone from the food channel makes a visit to Lake Worth.  Seldom has every single thing I've been served been over-the-top perfect and all for about $10 a meal including the beverage and dessert.  Breakfast Monday was half of the salmon abundance from Olive Garden.  I shared the rest with Cadbury, a chocolate lab.  Lunch was the final portion of Chicken Picatta from Cheesecake Factory.

Breakfast Monday - Salmon and Flan!

Monday we dined at the Key Lime Club on intercoastal waters near Lantana, FL.  Grilled Mahi-Mahi with Italian flavored relish (tomatoes, green peppers, onions and spices) were accented by green beans (switched instead of the usual Jasmine rice) and we all tasted the key lime pie that was awarded the area's best award. (Maybe second best).  They could not meet or top the key lime pie from the Rum Shack in Lake Worth FL.  I am spoiled by having tasted the best.  I doubt I'll ever have a crab cake that good again.

The best thing about Ruby Tuesday's in this Georgia town was the salad bar - so I shouldn't have ordered a crab cake.... inedible in my opinion.
Bready textured though offered as 'just enough to keep it together', blah tasting, greasy and unappetizing in appearance.  (Also half the size of the crab cake from Rum Shack).  See what I mean.  No picture as I sent it back.

I feel spoiled having had the best - not just the crab cakes though as I've been reminded anew of the blessings of the ultimate experience of a relationship with God (Psalm 118 started our day with reminders of praises for the privilege of a personal relationship with Christ)

Another blessing is having a wonderfully easy-going thoughtful husband.  He is a peach - speaking of which - we just bought perfectly beautiful blushing Georgia peaches for breakfast tomorrow.
