Today marks half the year.
All bunny stories are part of my life since Daddy called his little girls his ‘honey bunnies.’ The Velveteen Rabbit, as most of you know, teaches about being real.
Many of us, myself included are almost proud that we have hidden some of ourselves from everyone – including loved ones. I like to think or give the impression that there are mysteries yet undiscovered, yet I know many of the mysteries and would not want them brought to light!
Are we real with God? Do I keep that veil in place as I present myself to Him, as I realize anew that this is the Almighty God – El ohim – that I have come before. Sometimes I risk big, telling my story, or part of it, to someone in particular need, but seldom to I reveal that deep longing that Larry Crabb knew – a longing that nothing in this world can satisfy.
Food today negligible – upset stomach.
The Independence Day parade and fireworks always remind me of my spiritual birthday - July 4th.
If you would like to read the 'testimony' of that special day, click on my picture and check it out at Examiner.com
Pictures, hopefully tomorrow as I get a camera on loan.
