Days 283-288 - Life is Like a Chinese Buffet

Really - there are so many choices to make.  Choices you know immediately are good.  Choices you look back at, yet knowing they are second best - or third.  Choices you clearly steer around - you've been there before and don't want to return.

Some things in life are not a choice - though we might think they are.  A bumper sticker stated it well: Life is a gift - not a choice.  Salvation through Christ is also a gift - not a choice:  John 15:16 "You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name."

Obedience is a choice - Rom. 6:16 "Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone [or something?] to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

Food on the road:  Really was a Chinese Buffet - where all the veggies and protein one can handle are healthy choices - Stuffed mushroom, warm Crab Salad, Chicken and Brocolli, sauteed Zucchini, apples and grapes and a small piece of bananna provided a sweet treat.

Taco salad - Beef, Lettuce and raw Vegetables tossed in homemade French dressing

Breakfast below - Over easy egg tops Gyro meat, onion, potato, green pepper - took half home.
