Day 24 - Hope

7 CDs and almost 1,000 miles later, I'm back home.  It was a little more of a challenge to eat properly than I expected while on the go so much, and being away from home.  My goal this week will be to evaluate what I did well, what I could do better, and to create some new possibilities for the next time.

Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God,   Psalm 146:5  - I certainly have more hope today, of success and completion of this goal than I would have had months ago.  The reason:  failure teaches me what not to do... don't rely on my own will, on diets, gadgets, pills or anything without the Lord.  I've tried all those things - many, many times - although some made a temporary difference, but without abiding in the Word and filling up at the Lord's Table, my appetite was out of control.

Breakfast - cottage cheese, raspberries and 1/2 bananna, strawberries

Lunch - deli-chicken cubes, carrots, celery, apple slices, Weight-Watchers Amaretto Cheesecake Yogurt topped with few mixed nuts (pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, cashews)
Snack - Mini ice-cream bar with almonds
Evening snack - honeydew melon, apple slices, yogurt and carmel sauce
