Peleh Yo'etz, Wonderful Counselor is found in Isaiah 9:6 - Wonderful is translated from incomprehensible and counselor is plural - origin is an Aramic word that means consulted/advised together. "For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called [Peleh Yo'etz]Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. " A few verses showing Jesus having consulted together with the Father:
John 5:30 “I can do nothing on My own initiative. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is just, because I do not seek My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
John 6:38 “For I have come down from heaven, not to do My own will, but the will of Him who sent Me.
John 6:39 “And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that of all that He has given Me I lose nothing, but raise it up on the last day.
John 4:34 Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to accomplish His work." His place of nourishment/support/satisfaction is to do the will of the Father and to accomplish His work. How sad that I am often satisfied with or focused on only temporary physical nourishment.
It is also incomprehensible that God has provided opportunity to mankind to have a relationship with Him - to enable us to consult together with the Father, Son and Spirit - Peleh Yo'etz -that we can make our way through life complete, satisfied, fully nourished by the creator Himself. What a privilege.
Brunch: Veggie platter and dipping herbs combined with Greek dressing. Very tasty.
Can you tell I found a mandoline that will slice just about anything including an avocado - seed and all, and sweet potato for the soup.
Dinner: Pumpkin vegetable soup (Pumpkin, chicken and vegetable broths, carrots, sweet potatoes, celery, onion, scallion, spices and Tbsp. of Grandma's molasses). Very hearty and filling. Prefer the chicken broth over the combination of broths. Also had Rye-Crisp cracker, Kiwi and strawberry.
