Days 225-228 - Choose Life - Photo day

There are so many ways to choose life, in addition to food, as discussed in the last post.

Both of these days were party days - two baby showers and a birthday party.  And too many choices.

Still, the first shower was a brunch, so there were good choices like egg-bake and fruit.  The second shower was later in the day with cake and fruit and we picked a great restaurant - Casa Capri - in Kenosha which has an extensive menu.

Here are some of my choices -
The Danish puff on the right tasted overly sweet - funny how I used to down that stuff like water. Guess my tastes are changing.

Soup, then salad, then entree - Casa Capri's dinner portions provided lunch and dinner the following day!

Prime Rib when I'm out with Ken - Fish when my allergic hubby is not there :)

Love it when it is pink perfection.  Ken does too, as he says he 'finishes cooking it' the next day!

And breakfast after all that 'choice' living... Healthy but decadent tasting, Rolled Barley with strawberries and Greek Yogurt, and a Tbsp of Food of Life Golden Flax Oil. Outstanding!

I am learning to appreciate the choices listed in 2Kings 18:32 which describes " a land of grain and new wine, a land of bread and vineyards, a land of olive trees and honey." and ends with my new favorite words -  Choose life
